Document Identification: Anything Box | Nineteen

Case Number: 19-2008/050108X | 1987-88 RECON

Dear Mr. Chairman,

As stated in my last report, we were unable to locate the target at this location. However we did find something in the apartment at Sheridan Avenue in Paterson, NJ.

In a room known to Anything Box as The Music Room, we found scattered pages and photographs on the floor. It appears they are part of a book. There are notes of course, and from what we’ve pieced together it appears they were trying to change things again. The evidence is quite clear.

The first page we picked up was labeled, ‘The Book of 19’. It had an artifact known as a ‘cassette tape’ adhered to the bottom of it. I’m not sure what the title means, but it cannot be pleasant. The photograph was of the aforementioned artifact. I have digitized all this material we found to aid with our continued investigation. These were the notes left behind:

“You could almost say this is an album that was recorded in just two days were it not for the 20 years in between then and now. I recorded this in one day on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon back in 1987 or 88. It was a personal expression on the state of the world. As my world was constantly changing, the tape became a forgotten memory. It was twenty years later when I discovered the album in an old box and played it. I painstakingly re-mastered it and digitized it. And now it is here for you. I created a little book to go with it. It's called, '19'..."

The note is signed Claude S. | Anything Box. It appears this book was never completed; nonetheless it should not be made public. I urge you, Chairman, to consider its immediate destruction. Of course, this is up to the board to decide.
